I'm Jerry T. A. Bennett and I’m running for Congress as a independent candidate from the 7th Congressional District in Louisiana.
I've spent my life in this district. I grew up on Lake Charles' Northwest side and currently live in Lafayette. I own a large business importing and exporting designer clothing.
During the past 25 years, I've worked with busineees and officials to transform the town and our region's employment levels. We've come up with innovative solutions for building lives, improving living conditions and education.
I’m proud to have worked with other business men to serve our communities. I'm a co-founder of the LA Kiwanis Club, I chair the Lafayette Business Council and am a trustee of numerous hospitals.
As a lifelong resident of the 7th District, I can bring the representation we deserve.
